Appreciation Post: Avey Tare of Animal Collective

In August 2005, Avey Tare of Animal Collective and his girlfriend recorded a handfull of songs live and on video, called the Planet Claire Sessions. I’ve been a fan of these videos for some time, however, I re-discovered them this weekend to much delight. “I’ve Got Mine” is my particular favorite, but this version of “Purple Bottle” is pretty awesome as well.
