Hockey Night was the last local band that I never missed. Yes, I am a fan of many, many local artists, but Hockey Night were a priority below no other. They released two full-length albums and one EP. Their LPs, “Rad Zapping” and “Keep Guessing” pretty much changed my life. Riffs. Lathargic vocals. Sweet dudes. It’s all there.

Sadly, Hockey Night broke up roughly two years ago, however, a new Hockey Night-related project, Free Energy, has evolved and will be releasing records on DFA in the near future.
