A track from Ghanian-born, but now based in MPLS, rapper M.anifest, “Rebel” also features another promising up-and-comer, Muja Messiah. Together, they create “Rebel,” a track from M.anifest’s forthcoming Coming To America record. Underneath a nifty pipe organ track, M.anifest raps about what truly makes someone anti-establishment. ‘Fest’s flow doesn’t satisfy entirely, but he gets in some cool lines and references to ‘68 Olympics and Tommie Smith. Watch for Muja’s verse, though, as its the highlight of the track. Check it out at the top of the post.
