This just came over the wire (and by wire, i mean inbox). It’s the first single from Jay Reatard’s upcoming, just announced Watch Me Fall, which is, if I’m not mistaken his first, real-boy, all-original album of material for Matador (his previously releases were singles collections, and righteously glorious ones at that). “It Ain’t Gonna Save Me” is the first single from Fall, and you can listen to it at the top. Thoughts on it are forthcoming. Both MP3, and the inexplicably goth metal photo (what, is Jay going through a Moonspell phase?) are courtesy of Matador.
