Appreciation Post: Marnie Stern

While I was working late last night, I was fumbling through my collection to find something to keep me company, and I picked up Marnie Stern’s “This Is It…” which I hadn’t listened to it since it came out. I was completely blown away (again), particularly by “The Package Is Wrapped.” Stern’s ability to develop complex themes and then turn them around on a dime is amazing.
