Block Zero Booking Announces “Pet Rock” Show for Humane Society

(Kill to Kill)

So I bet you’re wondering who the deuce Block Zero Booking is. Well, as Syl from 90s alt-rock revivalists Kill to Kill explained on a recent MySpace bulletin, Block Zero Booking is, well, a booking company who are throwing their first event on behalf of the Humane Society (yay!). The event is called—and why not?—“pet rock.” As Syl explains:

Block Zero is throwing a huge party downtown minneapolis with 12 band all day on a huge stage with food and booze to go around. This years PET ROCK is BLOCK ZERO’s first event. It is being held on AUGUST 15 2009

Syl then elaborates on a separate MySpace post that “details of stage setup, booze and food details, sponsors and featured artisan details, [and] BLOCK ZERO goals” will all be explained at a later time.

A 12-band all-day party on the behalf of animals sounds good to me. But who will play? Conjecture says that Kill to Kill *might* be one of the acts.

Conjecture also says that Ted Nugent probably *won’t* be playing on August 15th. To be fair, Nugent is nothing if not an expert in diagnosing cat scratch fever.

As far as other KTK news is concerned, the band will be playing a show at the Turf Club on July 2nd with Baby Guts.
