Lucy Michelle and the Velvet LaPelles Record Song for Beatles Tribute, Announce CD Release Show

It’s amazing what you can communicate in two tweets. First, Lucy Michelle and the Velvet LaPelles announced on their Twitter page that they are recording a song at Pachyderm Studio (Cannon Falls represent!) for the Minneapolis Beatles Project.

A quick google search doesn’t reveal any official websites, the tweet revealed that The Hold Steady, Roma Di Luna, and Jeremy Messersmith are some of the acts who are participating.

As for that second tweet, it announced that a full band show on Sept. 5th will double as the release party for their next record, seemingly titled Special Party Time For Everyone, should this MySpace listing be any indication.

The show will take place at the Cedar.
