*MP3: The Arms Akimbo - “The Kids Still Love Us”

Tonight at the Turf Club you get one veritable veteran and two up-and-coming newbies. First is Chris Koza, who has been releasing charmingly ramshackle new-timey folk since 2004. His latest, The Dark Delirious Morning, was released last year. As far as the up-and-comers are concerned, you’ll get The Arms Akimbo, who’re like a garage-rocl Elvis Costello.

You can listen to one track, “The Kids Still Love Us,” at the top of the post. They’re working on an EP for fall release. Lastly, there’s Strangelights, sister band of First Communion Afterparty, who traffic in similar neo-psychedelic rock as that collective. Tickets are $6, and the show is 21+.
