Tonight: Zombie Season CD Release Party at the Hexagon

After releasing a promising EP, MPLS up-and-comers Zombie Season celebrate the their latest effort, the full-length Our Living Funeral at the Hexagon tonight. Like a less ethereal version of fellow 90s-minded rockers Gospel Gossip, Zombie Season play a thoughtful, moody and jangle-heavy brand of alt-pop. Openers “Country Song” and “Big Casino” strikes an especially saturnine mood, with a chill, but steady rhythm section and guitars seeped in reverb and delay. This is great music for late-night listening.
In addition to the show at the Hex, Zombie Season will be playing today on Radio K’s Off The Record. Catch them at 4 p.m.
