Julian Casablancas has posted the first single from his new album Phrazes for the Young.  Entitled “11th Dimension,” the song sounds like exactly that—an alternate universe where ’80s synth pop somehow survived to two decades only to have a scion of post-punk garage rock put his voice over it.  Only it’s real.

Phrazes for the Young will be released 10/20 via Cult/RCA Records.
