Just a scant 20 minutes ago, The Antlers offered up a tasty morsel of an unreleased track on their Twitter page. Recorded live in 2007, the Brooklyn-based trio offer up their version of My Bloody Valentine’s classic shoegazer track, “When You Sleep,” off of Loveless.
Naturally, my headphones are buried beneath a whole bunch of work crap, so I won’t be able to listen to this until later. Still, even though I’ve been relatively unimpressed in the little time I’ve spent listening to The Antlers, their take on an MBV classic is too irresistible not to post.
