MP3: Vampire Weekend - “White Sky”

Vampire Weekend has released another track from their forthcoming album, Contra. “White Sky” was last heard with a string section on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.  The studio version finds the band channeling the same jaunty vibe through plenty of blip and bleep, still singing about New York and the lives of the over-privileged.  You’ll either want to gouge your eyes out or find yourself singing and tapping along, or both.  Check it out at their Myspace page.  The sure to be loved/hated Contra is out 1/12 on XL Recordings.
